Come and sing with the Malvern Sing for Pleasure Choir  -  friendly, fun, and music for everyone.

Leading us for the first 30 (and ⅔) years!

Carol is passionate in her belief that everyone can sing.  Although already a budding musician, she was rejected from two school choirs she auditioned for and so gave up singing at the age of eleven assuming she was no good at it.  It  was only by luck that, as a young teacher, she discovered the joy of singing and since then has developed her own expertise and wanted to help other people to enjoy it too.

She is a vocal teacher and choral animateur in Worcestershire; a senior advisory teacher for the Voices Foundation, a conductor trainer and singing tutor for the national Sing for Pleasure organisation and a singing animateur for Sing UK.   She is the conductor of Worcester Young Voices and The Hills Singers.   She has undertaken research trips to Canada and Hungary as part of an award from the Churchill Fellowship.  She is also an examiner for the ABRSM.

Carol founded the Sing for Pleasure choir in 1986 and many members have developed, through the class, into experienced singers under Carol.  We are indebted to her for her enthusiasm and expertise in developing the choir and she leaves us now with our heartfelt thanks and best wishes for the future.
